clun the meadows medical practice is a small, rural practice lying at the heart of the beautiful clun valley. we cover a large geographical area with a patient population of approximately 3200. the whole practice is proud of its achievements and strives to provide the highest quality healthcare for all. we consistently rank highly in patient satisfaction surveys and are always keen to have patient feedback on how we are doing. pre-bookable appointments only in january 2017 we changed the way we work to better meet the changing demands within primary care and no longer operate the open surgery appointments. we have increased both the number of appointments and the number of surgeries that we hold to allow for this change to ensure that patients continue to have choice. patients who need to be seen on the day will still be able to access a doctor, they will now be given a time to attend rather than having to sit and wait. booking an appointment urgent problems : although we no longer offer a walk in surgery we still have plenty of slots available for people who need to be seen urgently on the day but instead of just turning up we ask that you ring for an appointment and you will be given a time slot to attend. for non-urgent problems or follow up appointments we ask you to plan and book ahead rather than expecting to be seen on the same day. we would like to reassure patients that we will continue to provide urgent/same day care to those who need it and no one needing to see a doctor on the day will ever be turned away emergencies out of hours if you need medical care outside of our normal surgery hours (8am -
